Blogging should always be fun. That’s what the people at WordPress seem to preach nonetheless.
I guess I should start right at the beginning of this adventure.
A few months ago, the love-of-my-life / yin-to-my-yang / housemate / roommate / Player 2-to-my-Player 1 gave me what seemed like an innocuous turquoise box after I reached home from work.
Valentine’s Day was just a month or so away and I was suspecting that she would be getting me a brand new iPad Pro.
So imagine how confused I was when I was handed this rather scruffy Tiffany & Co box which could obviously hold only one of several items:
- A tactical pen.
- A green-laser pointer.
- An Apple Pencil.
Turns out it was neither of the three options.
I got what I will only describe as an Event Quest Token for real life.
That’s right.
She gave me a used peed-on pregnancy kit with a positive result on it.
Best gift I could have ever received… except maybe for an iPad Pro.
